Where would you like to go?
Sunday was a nice day at fresh perspectives, weather wise and other wise, for a few good surprises! For one, Google was kind and assigned this blog a page rank of 4 and gave me a feeling of ‘official belonging’ to the blogosphere. What more? it came on my birthday (yes, not blog birthday, my birthday ;) so that was a nice surprise!
Now SportSayer would probably have to add one more page rank display button for blogs that got the PR for the first time because ‘has been’ or any other from his selection may not quite fit in this situation! May be a ‘lucked out’ button?
A real nice long vacation on birthday would also have been great idea and as a matter of fact I feel it should be mandatory to stay out of work for a few days on or around your birthday. What do you think?
Which brings me to this question:
If money or time were not an issue, and you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go?

I always am at odds about this with my wife, she always wants to go see Europe, Italy, etc. I just want to see the rest of the good old US of A. I haven’t been to Alaska, I sure miss Hawaii sometimes, and there are just a million things here to see and do.
About the only out of the country trips we agree on is Australia and New Zealand.
I don’t take time off for my birthday, usually. This year it falls on a Saturday, so it doesn’t much matter.

I don’t take time off for birthdays either, but I am always looking for a reason to :-) just feels like there should be less work and more relaxation ‘coz I don’t think we are as productive staying at work for most of the day anyway…
I haven’t been to many states either but for some reason Australia has always been on my wish list too…. Italy and Europe would be nice too…..

Happy birthday Pearl! If I could go anywhere I think I would choose Egypt, because there is so much history there. I live in the US where something “historic” is 100 years old.

So sweet Pearl… happy birthday. You kept that a secret, huh? And I have no gift for you yet… (not ready). Anyway, congratulations. I am not surprised that google assigned you a PR. Quality gets always rewarded.
The blogs that lost PR were involved in questionable linking strategies. I warned more than once against fave trains and bulk link exchanges… Maybe what happened will be a lesson for those bloggers, a lesson that says: quality before quantity.

In the post, I wanted to get a discussion about where every one would like to go if they got their wish granted :) and I didn’t mean to bring more attention to my birthday other than that I was happy to get a PR by, err what I called an ‘angry bull’ just a couple of days before that :D
but not all blogs that got affected were involved in link exchanges Mig and not all blogs that sold text links got degraded either, so why that was done and why now some blogs were brought up, seems not clear, from I am reading!

To your question, where would I go and its easy for me nowadays: I would go to Asia and meet my son who is on a backpacker trip – probably in Vietnam right now.
