You can call it what you want, Tad – Web 2.0 means “focus on the people” or powered by people. SEO 2.0 is not really accurate because you do focus a lot on the technical part (correct code, good keywords placement, etc) That’s why I call it Web 2.0 SEO (practically using SEO to enhance the web 2.0)

Yes, David. But try to explain that to SEO customers who expect some SEO voodoo and a sudden placement at the top of the SERPs. See, that’s why I prefer to call what I am doing online public relations. Optimization needs to focus on the public indeed.
