I have a couple of things to ask you today.
1) Am I the only one writing link posts on a Monday?
2) Do you always link to articles that were written in the preceding week?
Here are a few articles that I am sure you’ll enjoy reading and feel inspired as you start your Mondays.
Go read them and let these guys know where you heard about them.

As Steve Pavlina finished his 30 day raw food diet, I think it’ll be interesting to some people to read his conclusions on how the experiment went for him and his thoughts.
And finally, Monica Mundell from the writers manifesto explains how she has reached her targeted full time monthly income as a freelance writer, in a matter of 7 months!
Enjoy!

1Thanks for the link Pearl, it’s much appreciated!
As for your questions, I publish my link posts on Fridays. And yes, I usually always link to articles written in the previous week. Mainly all the ones I link to are from blogs I’m subscribed to, and I just star entries I like in Google Reader. Then I take all those I starred and write them up in my roundup posts.

4Thank you for the link, Pearl. As far as Monday morning linking goes, you may be one of the few offering links this early in the week and, it is fine to link to articles in the preceding week — it can take me at least that long to catch up on the previous week’s work.

6Good question Pearl. I don’t remember last time I wrote on a Monday. But I do love Mondays
I’ll follow your example today and I’ll write about taking ideas from others and not being gracious enough to mention them or at least give them a damn link. I am a little bit bitter - the reason for my sadness is in your list. But I’ll get over it… eventually. Thanks for including my entry, Pearl. Now I know who my friends are.

7I’ve been thinking on doing a linking post regularly. I never got ot it because I always forget about them? Now I bookmark them in the hope that I will remember to do a post on it. And yes, Monday seems like a good day to do this

8@Tay - you are welcome!
I star my reader articles also but I got so busy in other things, two weeks went by and my ’starred’ item list started growing and I hadn’t wriiten this post so I had to ‘un-star’ them
and I remember voting for the poll at problogger on the survey question if you blog for money or just fun, and I voted ‘for fun’ - so when I missed Friday and Saturday AND Sunday for this post, I thought why am I binding myself in rules? especially with a hobby!

10@Mig: I’m sorry this happened to you and it’s a shame to not give recognition or acknowledgment - but I’ll also say that it’s possible that many people ‘forget’ because they are just doing too many things…
it also works the other way, like someone not giving you thanks when you give them a link
so being bitter about it is only gonna hurt us… don’t worry, be happy okay? I know you’ll get over it… hope you have a great week ahead.. I know you will!
Cheers!
@Olivier - ALL days are good days for another post and the link posts should be spread out! may be I’ll post them in the middle of the week sometime - who cares? there are always great posts that we miss from time to time…. besides Rules are made to be broken, aren’t they?

11Thanks for the link Pearl
I occasionally do link posts on a Monday but then I do them Tue, Wed, Thurs…. I like to surprise my readers by changing days. In truth there is no rhyme or reason to when I do them. It depends on if I have enough links gathered and whether I have anything else to post on a particular day.
I do not necessarily link to recent posts either.
Perhaps not the best way to go but I need to get more organized before I commit to a routine posting schedule.
