Cool software functionality, I just wonder if it can match the editing capabilities of Illustrator or Photoshop. Looks much easier to use though.

Looks like a very nice program. Sadly I don’t have the money to invest in it currrently. I’ll keep it on my list though.

@thinkdave: and I agree with you! But for us non-designers, and a quick turnout, this seemed to be a great solution.. I’ve visited 99designs a few times and seen some great results there too, just haven’t tried it.. thanks for reminding though ‘coz I had completely forgotten about that site

Most graphic designers will argue that software doesn't give you any real design skills. I'm one of those people. For my website maintenance business, I outsource logo design by holding competitions over at 99designs.com. And I'm getting very nice results. creating a logo, i think, is really hard because you have to make it stand out from the rest… you’ll know when a logo is really good, period…

oh sure, the software comes with 50 designs that can be mixed and matched – I hope I can find something that’ll be acceptable to all here :)

So far what I have seen, it’s really nice for quick banners, ad logos (that I struggled with so long) and of course a pretty logo for your own site.. I’m also keen on seeing what happens to this site after a re-design here… keep tuned in ;)
