Sorry to hear about your Dad. I lost my Mom about a year and a half ago. It was very sudden and the whole family was in shock, but my little sister was hit very hard, as the 2 were quite close, even best freinds. She is still pretty shaken but doing better. It seems to be tougher for guys to lose their Dads and women to lose their Moms, but neither is easy. It is hard to let go. All the best. We lost our father 13 years ago but we still remember the great loss because he was just 63. We regret that he did not see the fruits from all his labor. He would have been happy now if he could see his dream house was built by his children…

Im sorry for your loss too John.. you know time never stops and those sad moments pass too but it’s been very very hard on our family, specially on our mom who never relied on any of us before..

Hi Pearl. Wow, that was hard to read about your dad – I’m really sorry to hear that. Sounds like he was a good man. My grandfather passed away just before Christmas and it was hard on all of us. Our family is real close.

Hi Shawnna: Sorry to hear about your brother. It’s too soon for you to forget him and start focusing on anyone else but trust me it does get easier to deal with as time passes. My emotions are still very raw too and I miss my father very much but like Akemi said above, ALL of us will be gone one day, so whatever time we’ve got with each other, we’ve got to celebrate it and let go of the ones who have moved on. I am sure your brother knew he was loved very much, it’s YOU who has to believe that. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time.

Reading your post today was very helpful. I lost my one and only brother and my only sibling in December. It's his birthday today and I miss him terribly. I live over 2 hours away from my family, so, at times like these, I feel very alone. I have my husband and son, but, still not quite the same. My brother was only 48 and taken away suddenly by a heart attach. I never got the chance to say "GoodBye". I know it's probably better to go quick then to linger, but, I still have this feeling that I wished I could of said "Goodbye". I do like what your mother said about focus on the living. I know that's what needs to be done, but, there are just times it's too hard. I loved my brother very much and HOPE he knew that. Great Post.....Thank You. I lost my father a couple of years ago, at age 87, and it certainly was no fun.

I just wanted to mention that my post ‘The Journey, with Brandon Bays’ is certainly not a weight-loss and looking beautiful post! Brandon healed herself of a huge abdominal tumour, and has developed techniques for people to heal themselves of emotional pain and physical illness, using things like forgiveness and having a direct experience of Source.
