Have you been seeing this pretty image around the web lately?

I noticed it on many many blogs and was thinking what this new thing was. Then one day last month when Vladimir contacted me to ask if I could review this site, I was really excited. My posting frequency in the last few months has really slowed down but Vladimir has been really patient with me, so my thanks go out to him. I am still new to the system but what I read from the site it looks quite interesting.

TNX.net is a newer system of buying and selling links for both publishers and advertisers and a way to promote their sites.

From the website itself: “With the help of TNX System you are able to get large amounts of non-reciprocal links from thousands of relevant websites: In just few minutes you can order thousands of links from high quality Internet resources. Links can be placed on main pages as well as on individual, deep pages of websites that either have few other outbound links or no links at all. ”

So, If you haven’t heard about TNX yet, it behooves you to at least try the system, since joining it is free. The interface is pretty easy to follow. Join with just a few clicks and get thousands of links back to your site and start earning some money by selling links on your blog/site. You can register at http://tnx.net/register.php. You automatically get 2,000 TNX points upon sign up. TNX also has a promo going that Vladimir pointed me to this thread: by posting on this thread in the DP forums, you get an additional 5,000 points free.

The best part is that you will have complete control on the sites linking back to your site. Once the space on your website is sold, you can see the list of sites in your control panel and will have an option of banning any site you don’t wish to advertise on your site. Another great thing is that the list of sites taking part in their program is kept private. So, the search engine lords supposedly cannot create an account and go out on a penalty spree.

TNX Points are easily used as real money, either for purchasing links for yourself, transferring to other TNX users (or even selling to them at a price you decide) or even sell them back to TNX for real cash, (currently @ 0.78 per 1,000 points). TNX then pays you via secure PayPal. Something I have never seen any other similar service offer.

Look at the stats from their site.

As of today there have 43,717 users, more than 32 million links in the system and more than 23 million pages indexed! Those are darn good statistics and the participating sites growing each day at a rapid pace.

What I really like about the system is that as publishers, you can sell links on ALL pages of your site, even the ones with zero page rank and make some money. For publishers (that is all of you who are reading this) there is an added benefit from their referral program. TNX.net is giving you 13.3% of the points your referrals earn, and that is a lifetime payment! which is really great.

Some of the requirements for participating it their system are:

number of visitors: at the present time there are no restrictions!
PR: It is preferable to have pages on the site with PR at least 1. You can check it here: volume check of pages’ PR.
domain: preferred are second level domains with paid hosting registered over 6 months ago
site selection by search engines: at least once per month
Number of pages: at least 30 (with regular ranking)
presence in a major catalogue, DMOZ: preferred
PHP: a must

In short, the system looks pretty neat and should be be a great site for catering to the needs of publishers as well as to the advertisers. I wish them great success.

This is a short post to let you know that fresh-perspectives got a fresher perspective during a recent review by RT Cunningham of Untwisted Vortex.

When I found RT was starting to review blogs, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get his view because the more I read his blog, the more I learn about blogging. His blog is a delight to read. Just imagine the amount of effort he must have put into its development and maintenance, no wonder it is so popular!

Even though I know a whole lot of the things that need to either be fixed or changed in this blog, I am glad it passed an evaluation with flying colors! :)

Thank you RT.

If you want a review of your blog, just drop RT a comment for a review!

As I was browsing the net today I came across an article that talks about SEO tips and the top most tip Glen listed in this post was the importance of having backlinks! Good backlinks are apparently one of the most important factors in getting your site ranked high in search engines!

In order to facilitate inter-linking of various blogs, Rhys came up with a brilliant idea of blogs reviewing each other! What? You don’t know who Rhys is? I have seen Rhys (pronounced as ‘peace’ – as guessed by RichMinx) around for a while and he is pretty active in the blogging community! Pretty cool guy who calls himself a Geek! You’ll see his talent when you read the six blogs he authors and guest posts on many! I really like his idea of blogs reviewing each other, giving honest advice and in the process exchanging links. Rhys has a blog directory from which you can pick the blog you want to review and also get listed for gaining a review back!

So, I picked a very cool blog which I am sure all of you are going to love! The blog is called Mike’s Money Making Mission, obviously run by Mike, who ‘retired early after publishing several business opportunity magazines’ and who is now trying to see if he can make money on the Internet using only free blogs and with no capital outlay. Mike runs his blog on the free blogger and runs four blogs! All on the free blogger. Mike tells the story what got him into blogging and the Internet marketing here!

I have to say that I came across his blog when I was on blogger about a couple of months ago, and today when I found him on fair review project, I remembered that I had bookmarked him! I was delighted to find this blog again because there is wealth of information on how to make money! Mike even provides weekly reports on which company helped him make how much! (was that correct English?)

I am sure you will fall in love with the openness and honest disclosures on here!

Go check out Mike’s blog and let me know if this review helps you in anyway! Oh don’t forget to sign up with Fair Review Project if you want to get reviewed either!

I know I've got to finish my About page but I've been thinking of this post for sometime and haven't had the time to write it and I really want to bring your attention to a brilliantly funny site that I was introduced to by Chee Kui of Dirty Little Secrets the other day! Take a look at this beautiful image

This blog is a mix of funny and informative stuff and it does exactly what it says – rocks your world with really mad tips and tricks while keeping you entertained for hours. Michelle, the author of the blog has a unique writing style. I would recommend you definitely read her post The Three Little Blogs, a Cautionary Tale that reflects how talented she is! I guarantee you will have a good laugh and end up loving the article and her site! I also want to mention that Michelle is running a contest called Cow Patty Bingo [that ends tonight @ midnight ;)] and after midnight tonight, she plans to have a strip poker party. :-) The randomly drawn winner will be given $50, and will enjoy a permanent spot of recognition on her Contest page. Isn't that a great deal? Now that I have had that off my chest, I am ready to follow Darren's 31 days to Building a Better Blog Challenge! Darren being in Australia, has already posted his second day's blogging tip and I haven't even done the first one…:) I hope to follow along with the month long project with problogger. I am sure it will be difficult but lets all try and make our blogs better. So tonight after making this post, I will be going through this blog's emails and see if I can personally thank some of my readers. I think I always contact people who come to the site here, if I know their emails, but if there is someone who hasn't heard from me, rest assured I will be contacting you. So, two things, go to Bloggrrl's website, read that marvelous article, and then head over to Problogger and get some more blog juice!

Shakespeare said these words, but I have seen The Thinking Blog putting it in practice each and every day. This is a site authored by the most beautiful and popular girl in the blogging world, named Ilker Yoldas. I am sure you remember seeing her. If you haven’t checked out her blog yet, you better do it now.

Remember this girl? I know all of you clicked on her picture =) But did you read what she has to say?

I found this great site when I first joined the MyBlogLog about a couple of months ago and the tag line for this site I Blog To Keep You Thinking is what caught my attention. I went to the site and instantly fell in love with the graphic design used on the site as well the superior content. Look at Ilker’s MyBlogLog community. It has a following of not hundreds, but thousands of people are looking forward to what Ilker is going to write next! As of this writing, 4,123 people have joined her community and the number is growing every day.

She is running a contest on her site in which she is offering a chance to win a complete re-design (aka facelift) of your site! Now, Ilker has superior designing skills and her graphics really stand out. To see her skills and capabilities, you can see what she did to the Freshblogger graphics from ‘not so fresh’ to the current green version here, or to the current John Chow site to what could have been a beauty.

Since I am fairly new in blogging, and the site is still under development (only been on Wordpress for merely two weeks), I thought this was perfect timing for me to participate in the review contest, and I certainly need help in making this site look a little more inviting!

Ilker keeps the blogging community thinking by providing very interesting and really thought provoking content such as her most popular post, Support Topless Women, and also keeps everyone involved in various activities in many different ways, such as through giving out the thinking awards to blogs that make us think.

There are a number of aspects to love about this site. I love the fact that Ilker is so down to earth and it is reflected in her writing style. Her articles range from ads, arts, cars, computers, creative to hobbies and images and travel and videos…. and many more!! I like the fact that these categories are displayed right up top along with on the side bar, and are easy to browse through. I love the bright orange and black colors of this site. The header graphic symbolizing a fetus that is thinking and those flames shooting out of it are really cool, well – hot… I guess, its both…..;)

I feel her posts are always informative, always positive and full of things that keep making us think. It takes some initiative and courage to get every one to agree to your ideas and Ilker is pretty smart at that. She invented The Thinking Award meme for blogs that make us think!

My all time favorites in her blog are the pictures worth thousand words...

I love the openness she displays in her posts and is always ready to share secrets of her success. For example, her post on Success, Fame and Making Money Online is really inspiring. Her motto, her tag line, knowledge grows when shared, is absolutely appropriately utilized in her blog.

Don’t forget to check out her Technorati ranking! The thinkingblog Ranks 86th amongst top 100!

Hmmm I am thinking the review is all positive, shouldn’t it have something I can recommend as an improvement? Its really hard to come up with any negatives on this site. Just about everything is done so tastefully. I do have one recommendation though. I saw in one of Ilker’s posts, she did not want to monetize the site, or at least not at the expense of the content. That is all fine, but this small meager little sign all the way at the bottom?

Buy Me a Drink!
Don’t you think my
content is worth at least $5?

I think that’s the limit of being modest! Ilker I think you need that big mug displaying on top of your page so we can see it clearly. And of course your content is worth many more than $5.00. I hope you continue to write premium content like this and continue to inspire us all.

If you are reading this post, make sure to check out The Thinking Blog, subscribe to her feed here and don’t forget to tell her you saw this killer review on my blog :)
