Introduce Yourself
Thanks for visiting! To stay current with the latest content on this blog, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed or by email .
I know there are a lot of people who visit this blog but not everyone comments! I am always curious to know who visits me and reads what I write. I really appreciate comments that contribute to the discussion of the day, but if you felt you didn’t have an opinion on the topic today, I hope you would like to subscribe to my RSS feed and return some day soon.
In the meantime, I would really like to know a bit about you as to
who are you?
where are you from?
what do you do for living?
and if you like, you could also include:
what do you like (or don’t like) about this blog?
what would make this blog better ?
what would you like to read on here?
As for knowing more about me, you clicked my About page right?

6Wonderful idea Pearl.
Who am I? oh boy…how hard it can be huh :o)
1. I am Colin, fortunately therei sjust one of me for I am sure the world would have aproblem with 2!!
2. I was born in Malta, but resident in the UK since the age of 2. I was born there because my father was stationed there whilst serving in the Royal Navy, hence I have dual nationality.
3. What do I do for a living? Well, I have been a soldier, then I became a chef, and in 1987 had to stop work through some spinal problems which were diagnosed in 1988 as ankylosing spondylitis. I have not been able to work since, so I started helping others as and when I could. Now, I help others to sort out their computer problems, which in turn gave birth to my Free PC Security blog. I also have 2 websites as well as several other blogs.
What do I like about this blog?
1. I like its content and relevance, the way the posts are conveyed in a format that would be easy for all to read.
2. There is absolutely nothing to dislike about this blog.
3. You’ll love this one Pearl, and you can kill me another time lol, you have just been awarded the Thoughtful Blogger Award, which I am in the process of writing up on my secondary blog, Life, and will post it shortly.
Definitely a nice, clean, interesting blog……simply a winner!

9Hi Pearl, sorry Lady Pearl hahahaha
A/S is just one of those things that happens, and you have a choice really, fight or give in! I’m a fighter lol and a sense of humor is a must for everyone……much easier to laugh in the face of adversity
Will wait with baited breath to hear what your secret mission is, I apparently have to ‘Beware the alphabet soup and the wounded bacon roll’ …….guess the bacon roll shouldn’t have picked on the alphabet soup!!

10Well, I have to say that I am just a visitor but am already impressed with the range of the above respondents. But, I haven’t read enough of the blog as yet, just the article on pings, trackbacks, etc. so I don’t really have an opinion formed. I am tag you to del.icio.us though.
Meanwhile, I am a writer primarily and I have several blogs going right now, one on personal and public finance, one on dance, on politics and society, and one just started today, of poetry.
As I said, I’ll be back as the title of your blog intrigues me.

15That would have been an appropriate thing for me to do on this page. Well, I’m from New Jersey, and aside from working on my autobiographical skills and being a jack-of-all-trades type, I’m working on developing a couple of blogs.

20Hi Pearl
I have visited “Interesting Observations” now a couple of times and I thought it time to introduce me. I was drawn here by Colin (up above) and really like what you have to say.
My name is Ange, I am from Melbourne, Australia and I do research and IM.
Your blog has a great feel to it and is very inviting. I couldn’t think of a thing you should change.
I have subscribed so that I can keep up with you and not miss a post
This is a great idea… kind of like a lounge to chat in. I like!

I think you should leave the page but maybe do a post about it with link to page, and maybe a link in the sidebar too.
Just a passing thought lol
Have a wonderful week my friend,
Take care,

24I have been thinking about your question and I have to agree with Colin in regards to having a link to it in the sidebar. It will stand out a bit more and you could make it look like an invitation to come in and chat in the lounge… perhaps! Great idea

25I am a writer and life coach. I write for my blog, Gratitude Magic. I just moved to Portland, Oregon, area, and really love it.
What I really like about your blog, Pearl, is your attitude. You don’t pretend you know everything or you are better than others. Honest sharing of one’s own stories and opinions is, I think, the essence of web 2.0 and blogging. Yet, this is surprisingly hard for many of us, and I have to keep reminding myself to be myself, my sweet, occasionally silly, little, and big at the same time, self.
Keep writing,

As for this blog, I love your writing style and fresh perspectives (hence the domain name). After reading so many serious articles throughout the day, it’s nice reading this blog for a change.
