from blue to burgundy

Oh I am soo not happy with the colors of this template!! I LOVEd that red header of my other template but I think I broke some code! Well, I had only one eye functional today as I had a minor laser surgery yesterday and I was ‘theoretically’ not supposed to be working on the pc but you know I am addicted and started working with it! Only to find that I had broken the BidVertizer code! One thing led to another and before I knew, I ended up messing everything completely!!

This template was designed by Maki from DoshDosh and Daniel from the wrong advices . I love the fact that this template comes with adsense already well placed in strategic places and I did not have to do anything but change my publisher id. BUT I have to say that the theme is not at all pretty! its very plain. Look at their own websites, the background is clean and the sites are prettier than the templates they built. I am a long time subscriber to Dosh Dosh and the wrong advices and I love to read them both – well I read Maki much more than Daniel and I love the information they provide [I wanted to really say I love them both, just couldn’t bring myself to say it somehow, don’t know why, heck they don’t even know me] … But color schemes on prosense are too plain.

I will be trying to fix my other template or try to find one just like that…… I know you all loved it too…. but until then, bear with me….Or if you know of a good template with the same color schemes I had, send me the info via the contact form.

In the meantime, enjoy the site but don’t feel so blue!!!

UPDATE: So I am back to burgundy… this sounds a bit confusing doesn’t it? well some of you did see the broken site and soon after everything got all messed up, I switched to Maki’s blue adsense theme but after fixing this template, I am back to burgundy!

Anyways, check out Dosh Dosh’s themes if you are thinking of changing templates, they are really solid and functional themes besides colors.

Hi Pearl!

I’m sorry to hear that the theme was too plain for you. Actually, the theme can be easily customized to suit your needs. I’ve seen some users do some great modifications to the theme. pinktentacle.com is one example ^_^

Anyway, we might be coming up with a new theme in the near future that’ll be more classy.. so hopefully that might work better for you :)

ah.. this theme look better ;) Not so blue, hehe.
And hope you get well soon, I think I would do lasik surgery too some other day. Sick of wearing spectacles :(

Hey Chee.. I know this theme really looks good but something is broken here… and my auction ads are breaking up in the side bar.. the comment file is also a bit broken up!! im still debating if i should go with the blue original bloggingpro and keep my burgundy banner or not!! check out that theme and tell me what you think …

you have to go for lasik? that might not be a bad idea but do go to a well known experienced doctor!! i am better thanks.. the eye drops suck though!! it wasn’t much really!

whoops ;) I wasnt aware of Auction Ads on the sidebar because I am using Noscript plugin for my Firefox browser..
Yeah, it’s broken.. maybe you need to choose a smaller dimension and centralize it.

Oh the dramas of template changing !!!!!!..I did it the other night …….and at one stage everything was everywhere…bit like cleaning out cupboards and wardrobes…

@ Chee… the ads are centralized, but ill try the smaller dimension, but its not the size though, its something else!! may be i need to re-load the side bar and comment files from original template!! dont know..

@ Kim – lol yeah that is exactly what happened here….everything was everywhere ……. funny and frustrating a bit…. my eye is healing good – until i go next week for the other eye :) thanks for checking in Kim….

Good to hear you’re healing :-) Just as well that they’ve only done 1 eye at a time, you’re not completely handicapped for vision.

I’ve been tempted to get it done myself, but I have night blindness, and I’ve heard that some that have the condition aren’t able to drive at night… they see auras around lights which make it impossible. There’s also been discussion that they’re trying to pass a law here in Canada for people that have had lasik surgery, to make it illegal to drive at night. Now THAT would be crippling.

Oh Really? Thats a bummer!! But I should have mentioned, I didn’t get the Lasik done :-)
I have what is called closed angle glaucoma!! Its a small procedure they do to make openings (wholes) in the iris so the fluid keeps draining and the eye pressure remains controlled… a sort of dangerous condition if not caught in time I guess… thanks for stopping by Deb… Its always a pleasure to see you here!
thanks for that link too.. I am still looking for a nice theme if this one doesn’t work! I really like the cleanliness of this one though… right now I am having simplest of problems with this one – not being able to post videos! growing pains I guess :) tc Deb and stay in touch…
