I found a website Free Webmaster Tools
where you can check possible google page rank for your site… I am not sure how accurate these tools are but for the time being its brought quite a joy to me…

click on the picture to see iwebtool predicts my site might get a PR of 5 ?? thats a shocking but pleasant surprise because I don’t think I even know how the page rank works yet! And if what they say comes true, that would really be something to celebrate!

Here you can also check to see what they predict your Google Page Rank ‘might be’ …. Just type in your site url and hit Check button.

Congrats pearl!!!! Well, I checked your domain and it showed PR 4. And will you believe it, my tipsosaurus blog, which I launched on 29 th july also shows PR 4. Thanks to you, I was not even bothered to check the PR of it, but then I thought, why not check it when you’ve given the box to check it. I’ll be getting crazy, if tipsosaurus gets a PR 4 :P

Wow Mayank…. that would be awesome, wouldn’t it? :) Really, you should start doing podcasts then and the first video should be you dancing to PR4 :D

but yeah I would be really excited too.. this site also has a lot of other tools e.g to check backlinks and the PR of the linking sites… and I particularly liked the keywords and phrases used by my site :) check it you’ll be amused :)

my stats were PR 2 pred 5 acc 77.5% backlinks 3,636 hmmmmm :(

Ah! Now I’ll doubt the credibility of this tool. Strangely if you put http://fresh-prespectrives.net then it shows PR 4 but if you do it without http:// then it shows you the result which you pasted in comment.

Well, this Future PR checker has got more popularity : http://www.seochat.com/seo-tools/future-pagerank/ and I think shows the correct PR too and that is nill for my tipsosaurus :(

aah… Mayank… thanks for bursting my bubble LOL I had been typing the url without http:// ….. no wonder their algorithm sucks!!! :) although other tools on the site seem to working okay… but i am not going to believe it now :) and of course SEO Chat gave me zero also :)

Mayank – thanks for letting me know.. there were a few comments in the Akismet!! that sucks really…. they auto delete those comments every couple of weeks and only God knows how many comments might have been lost! I never checked it !

I had checked with another tool a few weeks back that predicted a PR5. But since I’ve had to switch to a new host and get a new domain in the process, it appears even using the redirect isn’t helping me. Seems that I’ve lost all my precious backlinks.

I started blogging just days after the last PR update happened. Another 4 months with a big fat ZERO again, snifffffff.

Has anyone even noticed if the new update has completed yet?

thats a shame Deb.. after all that hard work!!! getting a new domain always has that problem…. but I am sure by the next time around you’ll easily get to a 5 again ……. This site is still greyed out in the page rank box so I don’t think its been completed yet…. I’ve been seeing some sites talk about they’ve been updated so apparently it takes some time to get to everyone…
