When I was on blogger I had signed up with a lot of the affiliates in the first month but after moving on WordPress, did not take the time to utilize many of the services. One of them was PayPerPost . I hadn’t even logged in my account for a long time and already forgotten the log in info, but when I did just a few days ago, I was amazed at how different the site looked. The dashboard looks much cleaner and user friendly.

The place seems to be flooded with opportunities and I remember the last time I was on their site, which was a few months ago, the payouts for an article was around $2.50 but now it seems to have gone up to at least $5.00 and I was instantly thinking I need to try this service. I am not too ambitious about making any money from this site, but if I can make a few dollars to pay for the hosting, would be really nice! How difficult can it be to write a genuine review of a service or a product once every few weeks? Especially if it is something that you really feel your readers might like to try?

I think its a very simple yet great concept to monetize your site. The blogger writes the post according to the advertisers guidelines and provides a link to the advertisers website within that post. Once the post has been live for 30 days, the blogger gets paid. The payperpost simply acts as an intermediary between the blogger and the advertisers.

On searching for reviews of the company I came across some great comments on one of Maki’s posts where he asked people to give him their personal opinions on payperpost and I was amazed to read how many people had positive experience with this company.

If you have used pay per post, I would love to hear your experience.

Hi Pearl, I signed up for pay-per-post last month, so far am not seeing many opportunities that are valid for me to post and earn. Mainly because my blog is low ranking, I’m in the UK and a lot of advertisers don’t permit blogpsot blogs.
The other thing I have noticed if you reserve an opportunity you need to blog on it quite quickly as the number of opportunities is often quite limited.

I don’t have any comments on pay-per-post…as I don’t have a credit card……so that puts me out of quite a few money making opportunities…..but that suits me as I don’t blog for the money…..and NOT having a credit card suits me very well :)

Hi Roo – I noticed about posting reviews quickly too and in just a matter of three days that I logged in the site, newer opportunities appeared and the ones I thought I could come back to were gone…. I think thats because of so many bloggers now using the service…… I don’t exactly recall the exact number but it was somewhere close to 10,000 bloggers that use payperpost now! But its really a shame they don’t allow blogspot blogs… blogger is definitely improving and I have a feeling with millions of blogs still on blogger, it’ll be in their interest to include this population! my bests to you too…

Hi Kim… you don’t need a credit card to use pay per post… All you need is the paypal account, so the advertisers can send YOU the payment … you are not buying anything from them! email me if you have any questions….

As you can tell from my post, I did check it out and signed up for it. However, I did not find it newbie friendly. Where does it say that you can’t have pay per post on blogger? How did I miss that?

I think you can have the paid posts as a 1/4 of your posts, but I do hate to see the every other one.

Seriously, I checked out a few of the blogs that have it and really don’t see what those blogs offer to have a higher rating. This whole blogging for money just seems to be so pie in the sky….

I think what Roo is saying up in the first comment is that a lot of advertisers are not allowing pay per post on blogger… I don’t have any experience with it so I have no idea… but obviously it’ll be their loss if they don’t utilize blogspot blogs, ‘cuz there are just too many blogs on blogger!

As I said, I signed up just to try it out… the topics would have to fit in with the theme of this blog otherwise those reviews or paid posts are gonna really stand out and I would definitely not want that to happen here… so we’ll see how it goes! As far as ratings go, who knows, I don’t have a PR yet, but obviously advertisers look for high traffics and i am nowhere near that either :) so guess I’ll know in a couple of months how this plays out!

I don’t do too many paid posts on my website but if I see something I’m interested in I’ll take the opportunity.

Pay Per Post has over 40,000 bloggers. I occasionally use Pay Per Post. On average, I make $15 per review on Pay Per Post. I started writing reviews for them in May.

I much prefer Sponsored Reviews since I average about $45 per review.

The most I make is when I contact the advertiser on my own. I make over $100.

wow!! those are some awesome amounts on Sponsored reviews Opal :) I signed up with them today to see how that works… I didn’t know you could contact advertisers on your own but seems like thats one of the options available …. thanks for sharing.. I appreciate it… tc and stay in touch….
